Job Description - HR Business Partner

Red Recruitment is recruiting a HR Business Partner to join our client, a telecoms and technology company, recognised as a leader in their field. Our client offers exceptional 24/7 support on a wide range of their solutions, and is a trusted supplier.

The role of a HR People Partner is key to the success of their growth plans as this will be supporting and implementing the people strategy.

The salary for this position is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum and is based in Birstall.

Key Responsibilities of a HR Business Partner:

  • Leading people projects, initiatives and activity that contributes to the overall company performance
  • Driving colleague development and ensuring the business is continuously improving people through effective people management and ensure that legislation is adhered to
  • Monitoring and influencing fairness and consistency in all activities connected with the management of all the colleagues
  • Supporting managers on all aspects of the employment life cycle including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, TUPE and employment tribunals to minimise business risk and be able to manage ER caseload
  • Providing guidance to resolve employee issues by evaluating and offering possible courses of action and direction for resolution

Key Skills and Experience of a HR Business Partner:

  • Being CIPD qualified to level 5 or 7 is desirable
  • Ideally, you will have significant experience as a HR Business Partner
  • You should be able to take a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the organisation which may require working at one of the company's other locations
  • High levels of integrity and discretion as the role will see lots of confidential information
  • You should be able to prioritise and handle multiple assignments at any given time including complex tasks and projects
  • You will be expected to have excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
