engineering company based in South Gloucestershire. The role The company are looking for a proactive HR Business Partner to join their busy HR team. Reporting into a Senior HR Business Partner, responsibilities will include: Developing strong business relationships with stakeholders and supporting, coaching, influencing, and challenging managers in managing their teams, in line with best practice. Working with managers to identify and develop their talent and ensure they create appropriate career progression options and experience for their people for example, learning resources, peer to peer learning, mentoring, job shadowing and projects. Create people plans, succession plans and development plans for your client groups. Support salary benchmarking and the creation of career progression pathways. Support development for managers on how to facilitate team reviews, setting objectives and measuring results and how to have regular conversations. Working with the wider HR team and the business to create people initiatives to support the business strategy. Facilitate discussion around change and transformation and gain buy in to strategic initiatives. Provide businesses and people insight to the HR team and HR insight to the business. Support the embedding of our company values: innovation, integrity, involvement, inspiration and assess the impact. Contribute to policy reviews and make recommendations for improvement. Ability to create, interpret and monitor a variety of HR metrics which assist the business. The person CIPD qualified or working towards Previous experience of working within manufacturing would be beneficial. Confident in providing commercial and pragmatic HR advice to client groups who enjoy logic, process and detail. Excellent relationship building and communication with the ability to move between listening to, guiding and coaching others at all levels. The ability to make quick, sound decisions based on knowledge and judgment. Common sense to approach with the ability to spot opportunities to simplify and improve processes to drive better results. Focussed on business outcomes. Keeps up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice and trends. Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player who is also comfortable working autonomously. Strong IT skills UK driving licence Salary £45,000 plus 9% non-contributory pension scheme, discretionary bonus scheme, subsidised BUPA private medical scheme, life assurance (12 x salary), Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle to Work Scheme, Fitness Centres, Health Cash Plan, Discount Provision, hybrid working (3 days a week in the office), variable working programme (4
