About the Role.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our small, friendly and fast-paced HR team.
This is a part-time role working 21 hours per week, with the exact working pattern to be agreed with the HR Manager. The role offers flexibility and could be a great opportunity for someone balancing other commitments, looking to return to work, seeking part-time employment, changing career into HR, or a recent graduate looking to gain valuable workplace experience.
Working closely with experienced HR professionals, you'll be involved in a wide range of HR activities, providing day-to-day support to managers and employees. You'll develop your HR knowledge, build practical skills and gain exposure to recruitment, HR systems, employee records, reporting and people processes, while helping us deliver a professional, responsive and customer-focused HR service.

Key Responsibilities:
· Act as a first point of contact for HR enquiries, managing telephone calls and shared HR inboxes.
· Provide efficient and accurate HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
· Support recruitment activities, including coordinating interviews and assessment activities, onboarding, DBS and Right to Work checks.
· Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
· Produce HR reports,monitor HR dashboards and KPI information, and follow up on outstanding actions with managers.
· Assist with disciplinary, grievance and investigation processes, including administrative support and note-taking.
· Support payroll, HR systems administration, invoice processing and employee engagement activities.
· Work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver a professional, responsive and customer-focused HR service.

Desirable (D):
· Experience within an HR administration or HR coordination role.
· CIPD Level 3 qualification completed.
· Experience using HR systems and producing reports.
· Experience supporting recruitment, payroll or learning and development activities.
· Knowledge of safeguarding and/or care sector compliance requirements.
· Experience working in a diverse organisation or community setting.
· Experience supporting employee engagement initiatives and projects.
