About the Role
Working closely with the Head of HR, you will provide an efficient, responsive and high-quality HR advisory service to partners, heads of department, managers and employees across the firm. This is a full-time, office-based role that plays a central part in aligning the firm's people strategy with its long-term objectives.
HR Manager Responsibilities
* Overseeing the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, talent acquisition and performance management
* Providing expert HR advice to managers on employee relations, grievances and conflict resolution
* Developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies in compliance with current UK employment legislation
* Championing the firm's culture and driving employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
* Managing compensation, benefits and reward strategies
* Attending meetings and taking minutes
* Managing internal communications regarding starters and leavers
HR Manager Requirements
* At least two years' experience in an HR advisory role
* CIPD qualified to Level 5 or above
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organisation
* Strong problem-solving skills and a confident, self-starting approach
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to confidentiality
Desirable
* Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
