Salary: £30,000-£34,000

I've partnered with a Housing Association looking for a confident and capable People Officer to join a forward-thinking team that’s committed to creating happy, healthy workplaces.

As a People Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting managers and leaders across the organisation. You’ll provide expert advice on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and employee relations to wellbeing and change management. You’ll also help shape and implement people policies, support learning and development initiatives, and contribute to the delivery of the wider People Strategy.

• Coach and advise managers on employee relations, absence management, recruitment, and wellbeing.
• Oversee and support People Administrators to ensure timely responses to queries.
• Guide managers through change processes, including restructures and TUPE.
• Ensure policies are up to date and aligned with current legislation.
• Support learning and development activities and cover for the L&D Officer when needed.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to strategic people projects.

• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in a HR setting.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience advising on complex employee relations cases.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between sites is required.
