Job Description - HR Partner

About the Role

This role is ideal for a Senior HR Advisor or experienced HR professional ready to take a step into a Junior HR Partner position. It offers a varied and dynamic remit, giving you the opportunity to shape and influence how HR is delivered across their client portfolio. You'll receive guidance, support and the offer of funded qualifications to aid your professional development. If you enjoy partnering and becoming embedded in client environments, this could be the role for you.

You’ll be advising on a range of HR matters—including restructuring, employee relations, O&D, reward and recognition, retention strategies, engagement and HR best practices. The role is primarily home based, with travel to client sites within the local region up to approximately three days per week. As such, the preferance would be candidates who live in and around the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear, practical advice and solutions on employee relations matters
  • Respond to a wide range of client HR queries and needs, offering solutions and advice. This can be done via phone, email or face to face. Ensuring timely, accurate, and valuable guidance.
  • Draft template letters and documentation for informal/formal ER meetings and attend hearings or investigations as needed.
  • Work alongside your colleagues within HR to ensure smooth handover and consistent service delivery.
  • Deliver a variety of HR tasks and initiatives, supporting Lead HR Partners across identified areas of focus.
  • Stay up to date with local and national HR trends and best practices, identifying how they may improve service delivery.
