TXM Recruit are working with an established and growing multi-site organisation to help onboard a new HR Officer / HR Partner.
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to provide hands-on HR support across the business, working closely with managers and employees to provide practical advice, manage employee relations and support the wider people strategy.
Salary - Up to £50,000 depending on experience Location - West Midlands, multi-site Permanent, full-time position 9am to 5.30pm with a flexible approach to working hours Company car and fuel card / car allowanceDuties and Responsibilities · Provide HR advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and employees. · Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, performance and flexible working. · Support the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to development and offboarding. · Coach managers on HR policies, employment legislation and best practice. · Work closely with the internal recruitment team to support recruitment and onboarding. · Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality and GDPR compliance. · Produce HR reports and people metrics to support business decisions. · Support employee engagement, wellbeing, reward and recognition initiatives. · Build relationships with recruitment partners, training providers and other external stakeholders. · Support and develop members of the wider HR team. · Contribute to HR projects and the wider people strategy. · Provide HR support across multiple operational sites throughout the West Midlands.
Skills and Experience · CIPD Level 3 qualification or above, or equivalent experience. · Minimum 2 years' experience in an HR Officer or HR generalist position. · Previous experience within an industrial or commercial environment. · Strong employee relations experience and knowledge of UK employment legislation. · Confident communicating with employees and managers at all levels. · Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. · Practical and commercially focused approach to HR. · Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
