We are looking for a driven, resilient and highly committed HR Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team at Berwick Care.

You will play a key role in attracting, recruiting and supporting our people across the business. From managing vacancies to supporting managers with people-related matters, this is a fast-paced, hands-on role where challenges are part of the job — and how you respond to them is what sets you apart.

Own recruitment and people processes

Be loyal to the business goals and committed to building and supporting strong teams
Recruitment:
Manage end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles
Write and advertise job vacancies across platforms
Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates
Coordinate interviews and support hiring managers
Proactively source candidates through job boards and LinkedIn
Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience
HR & People Support:
Act as a first point of contact for HR queries across the business
Support managers with day-to-day people matters and decision making
Assist with onboarding, inductions, and employee lifecycle processes
Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
Support absence management, performance monitoring, and employee engagement
Assist with investigations and HR documentation where required
Ensure HR processes are followed in line with company standards and current employment legislation
Support managers in handling people matters in a fair, consistent and compliant manner
Experience & Mindset
Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or a similar role is beneficial
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Confident dealing with people at all levels
Working knowledge of HR processes and employment law would be advantageous
