My client, a global financial services business based in Central London, require an experienced HR/Recruitment Business Partner to cover a period of maternity starting in August.
The European HR team, based in London, oversees all aspects of the employee lifecycle, providing both strategic and operational HR support. They focus on recruiting top talent, ensuring employee retention, and enabling staff to perform at their highest potential.
This HR/Recruitment Business Partner will bring expertise hiring top candidates, have responsibility for reporting and will support the Head of HR Europe with employee lifecycle processes.
HR
- Provide day to day advice and guidance to managers and staff in Europe.
- Support HR data requests: headcount and annual budget forecasts and reporting, support the organisation with analytics, ad hoc reporting and turnover requests, RFP requests, ensuring data quality.
- Support ad-hoc employee relations issues including TUPE and change management initiatives as required.
- Support annual compensation review process.
- Talent management/succession planning.
- Diversity & Inclusion.
- Performance management.
- Work closely with HR Services team who provide admin and benefits services support to continental Europe.
Recruitment/Early Careers
- Coordinate recruitment activity across Europe including but not limited to outlining role definition, team structure, recruitment approval process, compensation, headcount budgets, applicant tracking and reporting.
- Active role in interviewing, hiring manager training on recruitment practices and techniques, psychometric/aptitude testing, and other assessment methods.
- Focus on direct sourcing where possible.
- Support and mentor the HR Coordinator with all aspects of the graduate recruitment and development process which includes:
- Designing the annual marketing strategy
- Support with the setup of Intern and Graduate Assessment days, and events.
- Advise on best practice recruitment and assessment techniques.
- Supporting with the graduate onboarding and inductions.
- Oversee graduate development, advising on training including further study / external qualifications, coordinate rotations and manage performance issues where appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple countries and cultures.
- Experience in a client-focused Talent Acquisition role and HR Advisory in a financial services and/or professional services business.
- Sound knowledge of UK and European employment law.
- Strong analytical abilities, strong Excel skills and ability to manipulate and analyse data.
- Strong Project Management skills. HR transformation initiatives would be an advantage.
- Ability to build productive relationships at all levels to coach and influence managers.
- Strong team player, pro-active and motivated self-starter.
- Ability to take initiative in identifying problems and providing solutions.
- Experience in using Workday would be an advantage.
- Must be comfortable with being hands-on where required.
