You will play a vital role in developing students' knowledge, skills, and understanding of the diverse roles within the health and social care sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and informative Health and Social Care lessons at BTEC Level 2 and 3.


• Develop students' understanding of key concepts such as human growth and development, health and well-being, and safeguarding.


• Create a practical and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation.


• Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress in Health and Social Care.


• Support students in securing relevant work experience opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Degree in Health and Social Care or a related discipline.


• Experience teaching Health and Social Care at BTEC Level 2 and 3 (or strong potential as an ECT with relevant sector experience).


• A strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements for BTEC Health and Social Care.


• Good communication and teamwork skills.


• A commitment to providing students with practical and relevant learning experiences.
