HSE Lead

Hays are excited to be working with a growing manufacturing organisation based in the Warrington area leading in their field, to find a hands-on, proactive HSE Lead to cover 2 sites nearby in the region.

This is an exciting role for a HSE professional to manage processes and make Health & Safety their own on these sites.

To be successful in this role you must be NEBOSH qualified with experience as a Senior Advisor in a manufacturing or engineering-led environment.

The role

• Maintain, update and implement all HSE documentation for the sites
• Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Keep business leaders and site teams up to date with all Health & Safety expectations and legislation
• Encourage and monitor reporting, communicating effectively solutions and improvements to the wider business
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditations for the site
• Liaise with external auditors when necessary

The candidate

• NEBOSH General Certificate (Minimum)
• Experience managing HSE Matters in a manufacturing setting
• IEMA or similar environmental qualifications would be advantageous
• A hands-on attitude to Health & Safety willing to muck in

A salary of 45k+ is available for the right candidate.
