Salary: Up to £49,440

The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for implementing and promoting health, safety, and environmental policies across the warehouse operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with legislation and fostering a proactive safety culture within the organisation.

Responsibilities Included
- Take ownership and accountability of health, safety, and environmental policies, KPIs, and reporting.
- Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation.
- Manage all prework required for internal and external H&S audits, coordinating with auditors and identifying action plans.
- Raise and manage the annual H&S Action Plan and on-site H&S training plan.
- Conduct incident trend analysis and monitor statistics to improve safety standards.

Skills and Attributes
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Competent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Operational/Managerial experience in a logistics/transport environment.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in delivering training/briefings.
- Audit qualification is desirable.
