Hse Manager

Key Requirements

*

Minimum 3+ years' experience operating at HSE Manager level.

*

NEBOSH General Certificate.

*

IOSH membership.

*

Strong HSE management experience within power, utilities or energy infrastructure.

*

OHL (Overhead Lines) experience desirable but not essential.

*

Experience working with energy-sector clients, ideally including UK Power Networks (UKPN) and Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN).

*

Comfortable with extensive UK-wide travel.

Preferred Background

*

Experience managing HSE teams, particularly on OHL projects.

*

Familiarity with the requirements and expectations of major energy clients and network operators.

*

Strong incident investigation and root cause analysis capabilities.

*

Experience delivering thorough investigations, identifying corrective actions and improving safety performance.

Training & Development

*

Strong training background, particularly in incident investigation and investigation techniques.

*

Able to assess competencies and deliver relevant training in-house.

*

Confident supporting and developing teams to improve HSE standards and capability
