The role of the HSE Manager – Structural Steelwork will involve:

* HSE Manager position responsible for implementing the health, safety and environmental programs for heavy & light steelwork projects

* Lead, develop and maintain HSE management systems in line with relevant legislation, industry standards and company procedures, ensuring ongoing compliance and audit readiness

* Ensure products consistently meet required specifications, regulatory standards, and customer expectations

* Drive health and safety performance through effective risk management, incident investigation, and implementation of safe working practices

* Plan and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring non-conformances are addressed with robust corrective actions

* Support environmental and sustainability, including waste reduction, energy efficiency and continual improvement

* Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities and report outcomes to senior management

* Oversee projects typically up to £10m in value

The ideal applicant will be a HSE Manager – Structural Steelwork with:

* Must have experience in Health and Safety or have a background from an equivalent position (HSE Manager, SHEQ Manager Health & Safety Manager Etc.)

* Must have experience within structural steelwork or related sectors (industrial doors, temporary buildings, SFS, architectural metal, steelwork, mezzanine flooring, modular buildings)

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Must be able to hit the ground running

* IT literate
