Description

The key responsibilities for the role of HSE Specialist are as follows;

• Implementing, monitoring and reviewing HSE strategies, policies and procedures.
• Support in achieving / maintaining the companies ISO 14001 and ISO45001
• Delivering training and promoting awareness of health and safety obligations.
• Conducting risk assessments, audits and site inspections.
• Investigating accidents and incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure HSE standards are adhered to.
• Reporting on HSE performance to senior management.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives in the area of HSE.

Profile

A successful HSE Specialist should have:

• Relevant qualifications in Health, Safety and Environmental management.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to deliver training and promote a positive HSE culture.
