HR Advisor Permanent London – hybrid £55,000 - £70,000 + Bonus Network HR are delighted to be partnering with a top tier global Insurance firm, based in London that are looking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor on a permanent basis.
This is an extremely exciting role as there will be a significant amount of change work over the next 18 months so there will be a steep learning curve for the successful candidate.
The role will have exposure to ‘top of the house’ stakeholders, so an ability to partner at that level will be important.
Project work will feature consistently in this role, so the successful candidate will need to learn to pivot as required to meet the changing priorities of the business.
While there is rarely a typical day, here’s a snapshot of some of the key parts of the job: To provide a consistent HR service that gives a positive experience for their employees and managers, partnering with the business to understand specific needs.
Provide an excellent HR advisory service to employees and managers, specifically focused on middle manager support, coaching and advice, employee relations, performance management and absence issues Support managers to build knowledge and be proactive in the management of their team Support the HR team in sharing knowledge and upskilling for the greater good of the team Work effectively with in-country colleagues as needed to ensure the correct advice is provided Case management of employee relations matters to include, disciplinary, grievance, consultation and Speak-up, ensuring these are managed through to successful conclusion Within the HR team, manage the mobility process in conjunction with the specialist teams and business partners Work closely with Business Partners, and specialist teams, providing general updates and escalating complex matters, such as ER when appropriate Continuously look for opportunities to improve the HR processes and support provided to the business.
Understand and work within the colleague experience service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPI’s) ensuring alignment with business standards /requirements Provide support to cyclical programmes to include the annual performance review cycle, salary review, bonus, promotions, calibration, recognition and incentives.
To continuously review the processes and policies, ensuring alignment with employment law and making any recommendations for improvements What are they looking for? Excellent organisation skills and stakeholder management Experience of operating in a generalist role within financial services.
Providing input and opinions into the development of, and consistent application, of HR policies and procedures Hands approach but able to think “bigger picture” and anticipate the outcome of interventions.
