Are you a HR Assistant/HR Officer looking to take the next step in your HR career?

Role : HR Advisor
Salary : £30,000 per annum
Location : Hybrid working - Cardiff based office (with the expectation to travel to additional sites when required)
Full time, permanent

As a HR Advisor, you will work in partnership with a team of HR Advisors to supporting the day to day running of the HR function. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR generalist tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise line managers and department heads on HR policies and procedures.
Manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, placing adverts, conducting interviews, and coordinating selection.
Proactively manage HR inboxes.
Conduct employee meetings for inductions, probationary reviews, flexible working requests, and family leave.
Assist in organisation-wide absence management, including reporting and early-stage meetings.
Welcome and onboard new recruits.
Collate and report management information.
Support senior HR team members in grievance or disciplinary procedures.
Attend university career fairs

What you'll need:

CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be working towards) or equivalent qualification
Previous experience working within a HR

Assistant/Officer/Advisor

position with experience of

supporting/managing

ER casework
Understanding of GDPR and employment legislation, and how this translates into practice
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate across all levels of the business
