Job Description - Human Resources Analyst

We aim to be exceptional, both in the way we work and in the combination of our services.The RoleAs the firm’s HR Data Insights Analyst, you are the go to person for data analysis, research, and reporting. You will be responsible for conducting research, benchmarking and meeting reporting requirements, and providing recommendations based on research and data to management.Supporting the evolvement of the HR function such that service delivery, talent, and technology are seamlessly integrated with HR strategy to create greater business value.Key CompetenciesHR SystemsAssisting the HR Manager with the implementation and ongoing development of the HR Management Information System, working with key stakeholders to ensure all agreed requirements are met.Creating workbooks and capturing key data for fields for the implementation process. Identifying data gaps for migration and working to gather required information.Ensuring HR systems support access to timely accurate data, key reporting and ensure data compliance requirements/GDPR etc are met.Identifying opportunities to improve the system and data within it to meet on going updates and future system releases.Data Analysis/ReportingDeveloping a HR management information reporting suite and maintaining a robust HR data bank.Gathering, analysing data and producing management information/reports, identifying trends and making appropriate recommendations.Conducting data analysis spanning across the key performance indicators and metrics to include performance/ capacities/resource planning/retention/feedback/reward.Maintaining and developing HR Dashboards/metrics and supporting the production of other management information to support effective HR business partnering and management reporting.Ensuring systems provide for the timely and accurate production of such reports and MI.Providing analysis and recommendations to support projects/initiatives spanning across the HR spectrum, to include those that support retention and the total reward strategy.Salary and benefits, providing up to date salary and benefits benchmarking to assist with the development of the benefits and schemes offering.Collating data and producing reports to track progress and make recommendations for improvement.Other analysis/reporting as required by the Head of HR and HR Director.Compliance & Continuous ImprovementMaintaining and developing HR systems, management information and reporting.Providing data audits for the HR function.Statutory and business driven reporting requirements e.g. gender pay gap and associated action plans.Keeping abreast of industry, best practice and legal developments in the proactive development of proposals and recommendations.Key contributor to continuous improvement across the HR function.Working closely with and supporting the HR Management team on tasks and projects as needed.Requirements and experienceMinimum 3 years' experience in HR data analysis and reporting.Proficiency in developing and maintaining HR reporting suites and data banks.Demonstrated ability to produce complex people data and undertake statutory reporting exercises.Comprehensive understanding of HR policies and compliance.Experience in maintaining and improving HR systems and processes.Proven track record of working closely with senior HR leadership.Strong communication skills for supporting operational HR teams.Impressive work ethic and results driven.Commercially aware with sound judgement, uses own initiative and offers solutions.Exceptional attention to detail and passion for excellence.Multi-tasks, manages conflicting priorities, demanding deadlines and remains calm under pressure.This job description is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and requirementsWe’re committed to maintaining an inclusive work environment.
