Job Description - Human Resources Assistant

Our client is an award winning and global Entertainment group.

The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for their first entry level HR role. You will provide HR administration support to dedicated client groups, the role holder will deliver responsive and customer focused HR service by ensuring timely, efficient, and effective administration including coordinating procedures and facilitating effective internal communications. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Assistant, with some HR exposure, who is keen to be part of a small, friendly team and has an interest in the exciting world of TV & Entertainment!

Duties will include:

Ownership of the starter, changes and leaver processes including drafting contracts and other employment documentation (using standard templates) and updating Workday.
Responsibility for ensuring right to work checks are completed, certified and saved in Workday with visa end dates noted. For any individuals sponsored by the Company, ensuring holiday and absences are noted and tracked in Workday and all required paperwork is kept on file.
Maintaining and updating employee records, namely Workday the HR Information System (HRIS) the electronic filing system.
Coordinate and administer the Company benefit schemes (AXA / PPP private healthcare, Pension scheme, PHI and Life cover) ensuring that employees are given the relevant information needed to join the scheme as and when they become eligible and that this information is sent across to providers for action.
Working with the rest of the HR team to collate and communicate monthly payroll changes to the Payroll team, checking payroll changes against monthly payroll reports.
Maternity and paternity leave administration, including processing payroll updates and documentation.
Sickness, absence and holiday administration including drafting correspondence, updating Workday and answering queries.
Supporting the rest of the HR team with the administration surrounding various HR processes including annual employee development review and annual salary review processes.
Produce timely and relevant management information for the business and Group when requested.
Assist the rest of the HR team on ad hoc tasks and projects.

Excellent attention to detail.
Remains calm and focused under pressure.
Excellent time management and can prioritise work according to deadlines.
Previous experience working in a HR administrative role.
Previous experience using Workday (desirable).
