Job Description - Human Resources Generalist

Job DescriptionHR Generalist - City of London - Up to £45k + bonus - Flexible, hybrid workingA growing energy client in London are looking to bring in a HR Generalist, who is a self starter.This role supports the Regional HR Manager in overseeing HR operations for the client's European offices.The client offers a flexible, hybrid work schedule and ample opportunities for development within a growing team and company.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the main point of contact for UK employment inquiriesManage recruitment efforts, including job advertisements, resume screening, initial interviews, and coordination with hiring managersCollect and maintain interview feedback in the ATSRepresent the client at university career fairsSource talent for the client's Academia program, aligning with the company’s hiring strategyAssist new hires with orientation, training materials, and onboardingEnsure compliance with company policies and local regulationsMaintain and update employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and benefits enrolmentDevelop and coordinate training initiatives and team-building activities for the London officeAdminister payroll, ensuring timely and accurate paymentsCollaborate with the Regional HR Manager on payroll processing, benefits administration, and pre-employment screeningsManage employee communications and resolve interpersonal issues, acting as a trusted intermediaryKeep company documents and policies updated, ensuring employees understand company regulationsDevelop and maintain benefits administration and pension schemesStay informed on HR trends, regulations, and best practicesAssist with HR reporting and audit requestsManage the immigration process for employees requiring visasPromote a safe and healthy working environmentCollaborate with the global HR team to implement HR strategies that support business objectives and growthExperience & Qualifications:3+ years of experience in HRBachelor’s degree in HR Management, or related fieldHR certifications are a plusExperience with BambooHR or another HRIS is a plusKnowledge of HR policies and labour lawsAbility to work with urgency in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive informationProficiency in multiple languages is a plus
