Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our Haywards Heath team. Based on-site, you will be the primary HR point of contact for the UK business - managing the full employee lifecycle, ensuring employment law compliance and acting as a trusted partner to managers and leaders across the site.  You will work closely with the Head of HR & L&D, based in Dublin, supporting group-wide people initiatives while managing day-to-day UK HR operations with a high degree of autonomy. The role sits within a small, collaborative HR team spanning Ireland, the UK and Poland, playing an important part in shaping a consistent employee experience across the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own UK recruitment activity from briefing through to onboarding, ensuring a consistent and professional candidate and new hire experience.

  • Maintain current UK employment law compliance across contracts, policies, and HR practices, including GDPR and data subject rights obligations.

  • Produce HR reports and dashboards using Excel and BambooHR, tracking key workforce metrics and translating data into actionable insights.

  • Support delivery of the group performance management cycle and work with the L&D function to identify and coordinate development activity for UK employees.

  • Administer UK benefits and payroll changes, manage offboarding, and maintain accurate employee records throughout.

  • Lead local engagement initiatives and act as a visible, accessible HR presence at the Haywards Heath site.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years' generalist HR experience, ideally within an SME or professional services environment

  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum; Level 7 desirable)

  • Solid, current knowledge of UK employment law with confidence managing complex ER cases independently

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the credibility to influence managers at all levels

  • Self-directed and organised, with the ability to operate effectively as part of a geographically dispersed HR team

Package and Benefits:

  • Salary £45,000 - £50,000

  • Private medical insurance

  • Gym membership

  • Life assurance

  • Maternity and Paternity leave

  • Dedicated EAP

  • Pension contribution

  • Professional development opportunities

  • Regular sports and social events

  • Healthy food with comfortable on-site recreational facilities

  • Access to tax incentive schemes i.e. commuter schemes and bike to work

  • Workcation options

Additional Info:

  • This is a permanent full-time position with the option for Hybrid working.

  • All offers of employment are subject to a valid work permit.
