The Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our growing network of education professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Studies, or Social Sciences, and who can deliver engaging lessons that bring the world, its people, and its past to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach across one or more Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, or Religious Studies
• Create an engaging, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment
• Encourage critical thinking, discussion, research, and analytical skills
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners
• Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Humanities within secondary education (preferred)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Passion for inspiring curiosity and academic achievement
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
