HV Project Manager (HV SAP)
Location: Hybrid (Home / Field / Office – UK travel required)

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced HV Project Manager (HV SAP) to manage high voltage operations across a portfolio of solar and energy storage sites.

This role combines project management, HV operations, and team leadership, with responsibility for remedial works, fault response, contractor management, and maintaining safe, compliant HV networks.

Key Responsibilities

Act as Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for HV/LV switching operations

*

Manage HV remedial works, faults, and project delivery

*

Approve switching schedules, permits, and RAMS

*

Oversee and coordinate HV contractors

*

Support and mentor HV Authorised Persons (APs)

*

Ensure compliance with H&S, CDM, and electrical regulations

*

Drive HV best practice and process improvements

Requirements

Essential:

*

HV SAP (Senior Authorised Person)

*

Strong HV background (AP1 / AP3 or similar)

*

Experience managing HV projects and contractors

Desirable:

*

Electrical qualifications (2382, AM2, 2391)

*

HNC/HND or degree in a relevant field

*

H&S qualifications (SSSTS, SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH)

Skills

*

Strong leadership and communication

*

Problem-solving and decision-making

*

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

*

Good IT skills (Excel, Word, MS Project)

Hybrid working (field/home with occasional office visits)

Monday–Friday hours

UK travel required

On-call rota with additional pay
