HVAC Commissioning Engineer

Our client is a respected and long-established provider of technical building services, specialising in HVAC, compliance, and commissioning solutions across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, commercial, and industrial environments. They're seeking an Commissioning Engineer due to expansion within the division.

The Commissioning Engineer will setup, complete validation, and commission of air and water systems (HVAC) in line with current industry standards such as CIBSE Codes and BSRIA guidelines. You will be responsible for testing, balancing, and demonstrating systems to clients and consultants while ensuring accurate and timely completion of all relevant documentation. This is a field-based role covering within 1-2 hours of the commissioning engineers home address.

Commissioning Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Salary is circa £35k depending on experience
• 20 days holidays plus bank and rising with service

Commissioning Engineer Job Overview

The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the setup, validation, and commissioning of HVAC air and water systems in accordance with CIBSE Codes and BSRIA guidelines. Key duties include system balancing, TMV setup, client demonstrations, and timely completion of test sheets and reports. This field-based role covers sites within 1-2 hours of the engineer's home and may involve occasional travel and overnight stays.

• Hold a UK driving license
• Previous HVAC commissioning experience
• Knowledge of Air and Water balancing commissioning
• Understanding and knowledge of working on CIBSE Codes and BSRIA guidelines
• Minimum Grade 2 CSA
