HVAC Design Sales Engineer

Sales/Design Engineer / Contracts Manager is required for a varied cradle-to-grave role within a small, long‑established, family‑run HVAC engineering contractor.

Essential requirements:

HVAC background in ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, heating is essential for this role
CAD design
Full driving licencePackage: circa £40K+ car

You will handle projects from customer enquiry to installation; follow up enquiries, site survey, design systems (CAD), procurement, project management, manage installations, support subcontractors.

Key duties include:

Responding to telephone and website enquiries

Visiting customers to site survey and maintain relationships.

Designing systems to client specifications and producing CAD layouts.

Planning, organising and supervising suppliers and installers.

Managing installations and all associated project documentation.

Supporting preparation of RAMS, method statements and technical paperwork.

Ensuring the Quality Management System meets ISO9001:2015 standards.

It is likely you have worked for a ventilation, air conditioning or heating contractor as a design engineer, contracts manager, sales engineer or similar.
