Overview
We are seeking a skilled Duct Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair, with a focus on building and maintaining systems such as air conditioning. This role requires an individual who can read and interpret schematics, ensuring that all installations and repairs meet industry standards. Leadership qualities are also essential, as the Fitter will be expected to guide and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

* Interpret and work from schematics to assemble and install various mechanical systems.

* Conduct repairs on equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.

* Build and maintain air conditioning units, ensuring optimal performance.

* Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

* Provide leadership and training to junior staff, fostering a culture of safety and quality workmanship.

* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and installations.

* Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working on-site.

Experience

* Proven experience as a Duct Fitter or in a similar role within the mechanical field.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

* Familiarity with air conditioning systems is highly desirable.

* Experience in reading schematics and technical drawings is essential.

* Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor less experienced team members.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
