HVAC Service Technician

Hyreus is currently recruiting an experienced HVAC Service Technician for an exciting opportunity with an international OEM, covering the Midlands.
The role is suited to an experienced HVAC Service Technician with a strong background in servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on chillers, AHUs and associated HVAC systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their career while working with a leading international OEM across a range of commercial and technical environments.
Responsibilities

Service, maintain, commission and repair chillers, AHUs and associated HVAC equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and controls-related faults, using a structured approach to fault-finding and system diagnostics.
*
Carry out inspections, testing and performance checks, ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer requirements.
*
Complete service reports and technical documentation, communicate with customers and provide professional technical support and advice.
*
Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant health and safety requirements, company procedures and industry standards.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Experienced HVAC Service Technician or Service Engineer with strong hands-on experience working with chillers, AHUs and commercial HVAC systems.
*
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with experience in servicing, maintenance, commissioning and repair of HVAC equipment.
*
Relevant HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical or electrical qualifications, with F-Gas certification advantageous where applicable.
*
Customer-focused with strong communication and problem-solving skills, able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
*
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West of England
