HVAP Supervisor

We’re partnered with a business who are looking to add a HV Authorised Supervisor to join their team located in Canary Wharf. You must currently hold HV or previously been HVAP to be considered for this role.

Role responsibilities

• Supervising the shift team

• Issuing permits

• Oversee all mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance activities across the site

• Act as HVAP, managing and performing high and low voltage (HV/LV) switching operations

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four engineers

• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, including the permit-to-work system

• Conduct audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to maintain high safety standards

• Liaise with the client to ensure service delivery meets agreed SLAs

• Provide hands-on maintenance support when required

• Maintain accurate records in the CAFM system and ensure work is completed to required standards

• Manage subcontractors and specialist vendors while on site

• Participate in the on-call rota as needed

Requirements for the position:

• Hold valid HV Authorisation (Or previously been HVAP)

• Experienced in working in a Data Centre environment or a critical site (Banking, pharma)

• City & Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 (Or equivalent) & 18th Edition

• Strong H&S understanding

Salary and benefits package:

• Up to £55,000 + Overtime available

• Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

• 25 days holiday
