The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Hygiene Manager to work for a well-established global food business based at their Wirral site. Working as part of a team,you will take overall responsibility for the factory hygiene and waste management.

Responsibilities

- Managing a team of circa 20 people - including Team Leaders.
- Hold daily team briefing meetings to ensure clear objectives are set.
- Plan the team workload effectively to help drive continual improvements.
- Managing waste services.
- Overall responsibility for staff training, objective and standards setting.
- Support other departments in regards to hygiene training.
- Ensuring health & safety policies are being adhered to and promote a pro-active safety culture.
- Management of department budget.
- Develop and carry out hygiene audits.

Candidate Expectation

- Experienced as a Hygiene Manager or Supervisor within food production.
- Ideally from a compliance driven environment with BRC / ISO involvement.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to demonstrate effective team buy in.
