As we continue to grow and innovate, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Hygiene Manager to join our team at our potato packing site in Airdrie- North Lanarkshire.

The Hygiene Manager will be responsible for overseeing all hygiene operations within the facility, ensuring that our standards are in line with industry regulations and that we maintain a safe and clean working environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to hygiene management.

Shift & Hours of work: Nightshift- 10pm – 06.00AM- Sunday- Thursday

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the hygiene management system including policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Lead and manage a team of hygiene operatives, ensuring they are trained and motivated to uphold the highest hygiene standards.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of hygiene practices across the facility to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to enhance hygiene practices.
• Liaise with production and quality control teams to address any hygiene-related issues promptly.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and ensure the company is compliant with all relevant legislation and standards.
• Report hygiene performance to senior management and recommend improvements based on findings.

• Completion of IOSH Managing Safely training or an equivalent qualification.
• Certification in auditing and/or relevant experience in internal auditing.
• A proven history of employment in a comparable managerial position within the FMCG sector.
