Hygiene Operative

Staffline is currently recruiting Hygiene Operatives for our well-known and reputable client based in Lichfield, Fradley Park.

PAYE Rates for the Role of Hygiene Operative:

Weekdays - £14.14 per hour
Overtime (after 37.5 hours) - £18.80 per hour
Saturday - £21.21 per hour
Sunday - £21.21 per hour

Your Time at Work
As a Hygiene Operative, your duties will include:

- Emptying bins from portacabins and shop floor workstations (heavy metal bins)
- Sorting export boxes for shredding and goods-in use
- Separating general waste from cardboard bins
- General sweeping and housekeeping duties
- Cleaning Armco barriers
- Cleaning products in locations and under pallets (including turning pallets when required)
- Checking for rubbish and empty boxes across Lower and Upper Mezzanine levels
- Cleaning water machines
- Banding and shredding tasks
- Box building
- Sorting pallets into correct stacks
- Stacking pallets (heavy lifting involved)
- Cutting cardboard for box inserts

This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Our Perfect Worker
As a Hygiene Operative, you will ideally:

- Be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- Have a strong work ethic and good attention to detail
- Be reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Have previous warehouse or hygiene experience (preferred but not essential)
