Salary - Highly Competitive, depending upon experience
Hours - 3pm - 2am initially but this will change to night shifts.

They are seeking a Hygiene Supervisor to play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food hygiene across their production areas. The Role

As a Hygiene Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a hygiene team to ensure all factory areas meet, if not exceed, strict hygiene and food safety standards. Your role will involve overseeing hygiene operations across the main factory's high-care production zones and warehouse areas, including seeding, harvesting, packing, and dispatch zones. You will manage and develop a multi-skilled hygiene team while embedding a culture of excellence in food safety, health & safety, and hygiene compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and monitor the team to achieve high-performance levels
• Ensure hygiene standards across all production and warehouse areas
• Manage and develop a multi-skilled Hygiene team
• Conduct audits and generate reports to ensure compliance with hygiene standards
• Train new hygiene staff and maintain hygiene training matrices
• Oversee scheduled cleans, ensuring full adherence to hygiene plans
• Monitor hygiene operatives and ensure all work conforms to company policies
• Ensure the factory meets all legal, customer, and internal hygiene requirements
• Maintain inventory and ensure appropriate stock levels of PPE and cleaning chemicals
• Supervise hygiene processes, including deep cleaning and ATP sampling verification
• Drive continuous improvement in hygiene and site standards

Health & Safety and Food Safety

• Ensure compliance with COSHH policies and chemical controls
• Conduct lockout/tagout procedures for equipment
• Promote and enforce a strong food and safety culture
• Identify and report hazards immediately
• Maintain personal and team hygiene standards at all times
