  • Foundation-level hands-on experience configuring and supporting industrial network components, such as managed switches and firewalls, within segmented architectures.
  • Awareness of OT / ICS environments (e.g., PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI systems) and understanding of how they differ from enterprise IT systems.
  • Understanding of core cybersecurity principles as applied to industrial or critical infrastructure environments, including network segmentation and system hardening.
  • Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity standards such as ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, or equivalent frameworks (academic or practical exposure).
