We have the pleasure of confirming a new role for an experienced, commercially minded ICT Project Manager for a manufacturing company based in Newark.
This role is full time (37hrs working week) permanent and offers a hybrid working pattern of 3 days office, 2 days home, there is also the possibility of flexible hours or slightly reduced hours for the right person.
Salary £45-£55k DOE, 25 days holiday plus BH, pension, life assurance.
In the role of ICT Project Manager you will be part of a team whose purpose is to deliver cost effective, quality projects using the company ICT Project Management process and support the enhancement of the company ICT Project Management process to ensure it stays fit for purpose. The ICT Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of clear, timely project updates of the correct level of detail to the various levels of project stakeholder. To include updates on the key KPI’s:- * Plan – Current and forecast against project plan * Budget – Approved vs forecast (including actual spend) * Scope - Actual adherence to the agreed scope.
You will be working with 11 other sites within the business who are based across Europe mostly and could be working on 1-3 different projects at once depending on the size of those projects.
We are looking for someone with a real can do attitude, willingness to get involved, learn, develop and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Experience required -
* Ideally 5 years of commercial development experience (analysis, design, coding & implementation)
* Ideally 5 years of proven experience as a project manager, specifically in IT projects with outsourced development companies and internal solutions designers and developers.
* In-depth knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
* Experience of internal and external (Cloud) integration developments.
* Knowledge of database design and communication infrastructure between system components.
* Experience of Prince 2 or equivalent project management process.
Qualifications required -
* Degree in a relevant subject or extensive experience of working within a Commercial Development environment.
Skills required -
* Ability to evaluate and negotiate with suppliers of services, software tools and hardware.
* Good Time Management skills to allow working to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment.
* Good presentation skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and at all levels.
* Ability to work as part of and to lead a team of local members and members based remotely e.g offshore in different time zones.
* Ability to learn the project products to the level required to enable clear stakeholder discussion and maintain a high level of project governance and leadership.
