ICT Teacher Job

Your new schoolHays are offering a long-term ICT teacher role at a large secondary school in RCT with a mixed intake of pupils. Due to a vacancy in the ICT department, the school are looking to hire a long-term ICT teacher to start as soon as possible. The leadership team have a strong vision which is communicated well throughout the school.Your new roleYou will work as a part of a successful department and will be responsible for:

• Teaching KS3 and KS4 ICT.
• Full planning, preparation and assessment duties.
• Actively taking part in departmental meetings.
• Pastoral duties including parent's evenings.

What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified teacher, and you will have previous experience within a secondary school or college or have completed a PGCE in ICT or Computer Science.

• Previous experience of delivering ICT or Computer Science.
• Hold a valid PGCE.
• Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
• A commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.
• Up to date EWC registration.
