Job Description - IFA Administrator

IFA Administrator / Client Manager

South Manchester Based
Fully Office Based
£30,000 DOE
28 Days Holiday

The Client Manager plays a critical role in supporting financial advisers and maintaining strong client relationships. You will be the central point of contact for clients and be responsible for ensuring a seamless, compliant, and high-quality client experience. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from preparing reports and managing files to supporting the implementation of financial recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to queries professionally and efficiently
  • Support advisers with non-client-facing tasks related to financial recommendations and service delivery
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and compliant client files and documentation
  • Liaise with financial providers, clients, and advisers to ensure smooth processing of applications and recommendations
  • Assist in the preparation of client reviews, including investment analysis, tax assessments, and service reports
  • Conduct research and draft preliminary suitability reports and recommendation documents
  • Ensure all records are maintained in line with data protection policies and FCA regulations
  • Attend client meetings as required and provide follow-up support

Desireables:
  • Proven experience in a client support or paraplanning role within a financial advisory or wealth management setting
  • Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and financial services compliance
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • A proactive and client-focused attitude
  • Relevant financial services qualifications (desirable but not essential)
