About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and practical Food Tech lessons that explore culinary skills, nutrition, and food science


• Develop students' confidence in the kitchen, from basic techniques to recipe development


• Foster a love for healthy eating and exploring diverse cuisines from around the world


• Contribute to the development of our curriculum to ensure it is relevant, engaging, and promotes a well-rounded understanding of food


• Play a vital role in our supportive and inclusive school community

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a relevant subject (e.g., Hospitality, Home Economics)


• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for food, cooking, and healthy eating habits


• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills, especially in a hands-on learning environment


• A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable experimenting and exploring culinary creativity
