The Role

As a Paint Technician, you'll be responsible for preparing, painting, and refinishing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring every repair is completed efficiently and with exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare vehicles and panels for paint.

* Mix and colour match paint accurately.

* Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray equipment.

* Carry out SMART repairs and full panel resprays where required.

* Polish and finish painted vehicles to a high standard.

* Inspect completed work to ensure quality and manufacturer standards are met.

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Paint Technician, Vehicle Paint Sprayer, Car Painter, Automotive Paint Technician, or Bodyshop Paint Sprayer.

* Experience working within a busy accident repair centre or bodyshop.

* Strong knowledge of modern paint systems and application techniques.

* Excellent eye for detail and quality.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential.
