Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for logistics? We’re looking for an organised and proactive Import Clerk to join our client's dynamic team in Felixstowe. In this vital role, you’ll be at the heart of our import operations, ensuring the seamless and compliant movement of goods across borders.

• Manage Import Documentation: Prepare and process all necessary paperwork in line with customs regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate Customs Clearance: Work closely with customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate clearance of shipments.
• Track Shipments: Monitor deliveries, resolve delays, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Liaise with Partners: Communicate effectively with suppliers, shipping lines, and logistics partners.
• Ensure Compliance: Stay up to date with import laws and trade regulations to maintain full compliance.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate and organised records of all import transactions.
• Problem-Solve: Tackle issues such as shipment discrepancies, delays, and compliance challenges.

• Experience: Previous experience in import/export or logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge: Understanding of import procedures and customs processes.
• Skills: Excellent organisational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using import/export software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Education: A qualification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
