Import LCL Operator

Assure Personnel are currently supporting a Freight Forwarding company based near Witham, to recruit for a motivated and dynamic individual to become part of their expanding deep sea import team. This is a full-time position within a fast-paced LCL (Less than Container Load) import environment.

The successful candidate should bring a minimum of 2 year's experience in freight forwarding and possess a strong grasp of import procedures.

• Arrange import bookings via air, sea, and road
• Manage shipments from start to finish
• Communicate with overseas offices and partners
• Process sales and purchase entries
• Update new client bookings and pricing in shared systems
• Raise invoices and manage direct client accounts
• Handle key accounts with attention to service and detail
• Resolve customer queries and complaints effectively in line with company policies

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an import operational role
• Familiarity with LCL processes preferred
• Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Location: Just outside of Witham
• £30,000 per year
