Import/Road Freight Operator

Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced German Import/Road Freight Operator to join our friendly and proactive Client in the London Gateway.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities include:

• Working within a department of 15 people, part of a wider team of 47.
• Handling European groupage services.
• Arranging movement of freight from origin to final destination, both international and national.
• Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers.

You will need:

• Must have a good understanding of European road freight, at least 2 years’ experience.
• Capable of manually calculating costs and charges.
• Imports Experience required.
• Understanding of taxable kilos.
• Good customer service skills.
• Experience with Customs paperwork.
• Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.
• Confident and outgoing individual.
• Driver with own transport is desirable.
• UK resident and the right to work in the UK.
