Hours: Monday – Friday, 12:00pm – 9:00pm
Salary: £27,539.20 

Are you an experienced customs professional looking to join a fast-paced international logistics environment?

As a Customs Declarant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of import and export shipments. Working closely with customers, internal departments, and customs authorities, you’ll be responsible for managing customs processes efficiently while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Support import and export customs clearance processes, including document verification and coordination with branch offices
Prepare and process all required customs documentation accurately and efficiently
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding shipment and customs requirements
Act as a key point of contact for customs-related queries from both customers and authorities
Ensure all customs activities comply with current regulations, legislation, and internal procedures
Review and validate customer export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assist in resolving customs-related issues promptly and professionallyThe Ideal Candidate Will Have

Previous experience within customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics administration
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
The ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Strong IT and numerical skills
A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
