Inclusion Mentor - SEN Schools - Northamptonshire

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Mentors to work in a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across Northamptonshire. These schools support pupils with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As an Inclusion Mentor, you'll work closely with students who are struggling to engage with learning due to emotional, behavioural, or social challenges. Your support will help them develop the confidence and skills they need to access education fully.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions focused on behaviour, emotional regulation, and self-esteem.
• Build trusting, respectful relationships with pupils and act as a positive role model.
• Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to create inclusive learning environments.
• Support students with reintegration into the classroom and school routines.
• Track progress and contribute to pupil support plans.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in education, youth work, care, or mental health support.
• A calm, patient and empathetic approach to behaviour and communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to promoting inclusion.
• Experience supporting students with SEN or SEMH is highly desirable.
