Independent Financial Advisor

Independent Financial Adviser - Colchester - Up to £70,000

An established and well-regarded independent financial planning firm based in Colchester is seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Adviser to join its team, following a successful period of growth and an upcoming retirement within the advisory division.

This is a key opportunity for a qualified Financial Adviser to step into a role with access to an existing client base, while also benefiting from the infrastructure and support required to continue building long-term relationships and generating new business.

The successful candidate will join a stable, client-centric team of financial planners and will be supported in taking over a number of long-standing client relationships. In addition to this, you will be given the autonomy and tools required to further develop your own portfolio through referrals, networking, and the firm's broader business development activities.

The firm is open to candidates at various levels of experience, including:

• Existing IFAs with a transferable client base seeking a more bespoke environment, or

• Newly qualified Financial Advisers with the drive and professionalism to grow within a structured, independent practice.

To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate the following:

• A minimum of 12 months' experience working within a Financial Planning or IFA firm

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A sound technical understanding of investment, pensions, and protection planning

• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals is desirable but not essential

• Location: Colchester - Office-based

• Salary: Up to £70,000 (depending on experience)

• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

• Client Bank: Partial book available due to retirement
