We are seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join our vibrant and high-achieving independent school in Stoke-on-Trent starting this September. The Music Teacher will have the opportunity to lead exciting music programs, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 while fostering a love for music in all students.

As the Music Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering dynamic Music lessons that engage and inspire students.


• Supporting students in developing their musical abilities across a range of instruments and genres.


• Planning and organizing performances and events that showcase student talent.


• Providing feedback and assessing student progress in Music.


• Collaborating with other Music staff to improve and develop the curriculum.

The Ideal Music Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• A degree in Music or a related subject.


• Experience teaching Music at the secondary level.


• Strong knowledge of the Music curriculum and the ability to teach a range of music styles and instruments.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students with varying musical abilities.
