Independent School Teacher

An outstanding independent prep school in Camden is looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced KS2 Primary Teacher to join their friendly, supportive team from September on a full-time basis.

This well-established, one-form entry prep school caters for children aged 3-11 and is known for its warm, nurturing environment and strong academic outcomes. The school places a high value on pastoral care, pupil wellbeing, and holistic development alongside academic success.

The school benefits from small class sizes (maximum of 15 pupils), excellent resources, and a varied programme of extracurricular activities. Staff enjoy a collaborative and supportive working culture where everyone's contribution is valued.

As a KS2 Primary Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons designed to inspire and challenge pupils of all abilities. You'll support pupils' academic progress and personal development, helping to prepare them for future opportunities, including entrance to selective independent schools.

While much of the planning is in place, you'll have the scope to tailor and adapt lessons to meet your pupils' needs.

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent)

• KS2 classroom teaching experience is essential

• Experience within independent or preparatory schools is desirable

• QTS preferred
