Index Research Analyst

Index Research Analyst as part of a collaborative team, with a focus on index rebalancing.

Preferred Location

Open to candidates in Europe, London preferred.

Principal Responsibilities

• Working alongside the trading and research team with a focus on US, EMEA and Asia Indices.

• Performing primary research from company reports and research shareholding structure to build accurate predictions of index events.

• Identifying signals and generating ideas to contribute to the overall team strategy.

• Interpreting index methodologies. 

Preferred Technical Skills

• Strong research and programming skills

• High attention to detail.

• Experience in Excel, Python and SQL

Preferred Experience

• 2-5 years of experience as a Researcher or Quantitative Researcher in an Index Rebalancing environment

• Demonstrated track record of working with filings and key information documents on global companies.

• Demonstrated understanding of equity index methodologies.
