Indirect Procurement Manager

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our London based media client to recruit for an Indirect Procurement Manager.

The role:

My client is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to take ownership of key indirect categories including Marketing, Sales, Travel, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Financial services.

Role responsibilities:

Define and implement robust category strategies
Lead end-to-end sourcing projects and commercial/contractual negotiations
Proactively monitor, manage, and negotiate contracts across the contract lifecycle to meet stakeholder requirements.
Identify savings opportunities
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with senior internal stakeholders.
Manage key vendor relationships
Improve the efficiency of supplier onboarding and contract risk management.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives and drive supplier-led innovation across your categories.

Skills and experience:

Strong background in end-to-end indirect category management, with a track record of running complex sourcing projects and managing large contracts.
Proven history of delivering significant, measurable cost savings and commercial value.
A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and comfortably balances strategic thinking with hands-on tactical delivery.
A sharp eye for process improvement, both across broader business operations and within the Procurement function itself.
Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
CIPS qualification would be desirable
