Indirect Tax Assistant Manager

Be-Resourcing is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an Indirect Tax Assistant Manager to join our client’s growing team, with flexibility to be based in any of their UK offices.

This is a fantastic role for a tax professional with experience in indirect tax who’s ready to step into a leadership position. You’ll play a key role in managing compliance processes, supporting advisory work and helping clients navigate complex VAT and indirect tax matters. You’ll be joining a people-first team that values collaboration, innovation and continuous development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of indirect tax compliance
• Provide clear, practical advice on VAT and other indirect tax matters
• Review and oversee the work of junior team members, offering guidance and support
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to client relationships
• Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and apply this knowledge to client work
• Support the wider team with advisory projects, technical research, and client proposals
• Contribute to internal training and knowledge sharing across the team

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in an indirect tax role within a professional services or in-house environment
• Strong technical knowledge of VAT and related taxes
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
• Experience mentoring junior staff
• A proactive mindset with a desire to grow and develop
• CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
