Are you a seasoned Indirect Tax professional looking for your next big challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of tax compliance across a complex, fast-paced business operating in a regulated industry.

We're currently seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to join a forward-thinking finance function, where you'll work closely with the Head of Tax & Treasury and play a pivotal role in driving compliance, mitigating risk, and advising on indirect tax legislation across the UK and Europe.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Own and manage all indirect tax compliance and reporting

• Maintain supply chain documentation, risk registers, and customs figures

• Ensure bonded warehouse activities meet HMRC requirements

• Stay ahead of evolving legislation (e.g. VAT, plastic packaging tax, sugar tax)

• Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure tax efficiency and compliance

• Deliver internal training and challenge current processes for continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

• Strong knowledge of UK and EU indirect taxes

• Experience managing tax compliance in complex, regulated environments

• Expertise in customs, excise duty, bonded warehouses, and product movement

• A detail-focused, proactive individual who thrives on solving complex challenges

• Excellent communicator, confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
